S4-6 is the coming together of municipal, and Indigenous communities to collaborate on innovative strategies that will meet the collective interest of regional communities.
The group takes its name from sylvite, the mineral form of potash, and Treaty 4 and 6 territory in Saskatchewan, which is home to regional communities surrounding BHP's operations near the Jansen potash site and its headquarters in Saskatoon.

Leadership from regional communities met to talk about opportunities, recognize challenges and barriers to maximizing opportunities stemming from the BHP Jansen project. The Group collectively prioritized the following areas that will need to be addressed immediately to ensure local participation and service provision are foundational to regional development.
