WHAT IS THE S4-6 HOUSING FORUM?
Addressing Housing NeedsThere is an inevitable housing shortage facing municipal and Indigenous communities in the BHP Jansen Potash Mine region. The S4-6 Housing Forum is a necessary first step to discuss and strategize innovative solutions to realize a vision for safe, readily available and quality housing options to accommodate the region's growing population.

WHAT IS THE S4-6 REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP?
Preparing for Rapid GrowthS4-6 is the coming together of municipal and Indigenous communities to collaborate on innovative strategies that will meet the collective interest of the larger Jansen region communities and get ready for the rapid growth resulting from the BHP Jansen Potash mine.

In late Fall 2023, a Community Reference Group was initiated to prepare for rapid growth related to the construction and operation of the BHP Jansen Potash mine. The Group was initiated in response to a widely held belief that a truly inclusive regional entity would be best positioned to inform and guide regional development. The Group consists of regional participants including leaders from local First Nations, urban and rural municipalities, BHP, and the Mid Sask Municipal Alliance.
